Carol,
Wow, your decorations are beautiful. The way you outlined the house perfectly is awesome. What kind of lights are those on your back deck? Can't quite make out what they are but they look cool. :santa:

They are just regular string lights.Just a fuzzy picture.

After you finish setting up at the Fort, would you stop by & decorate my house? You are truly amazing, Carol!

Carol, you do know you have to take all of that down don't you?

This is last year. Not sure we are going to set up this year. We leave for Florida Dec 12 and not back until Dec 28. We usually shut them off the first or second week of Jan anyway.

It does come down a lot easier. If any of you have done shingle hooks before, you know you just pull and they come sliding down :-) (We do hire somebody to climb on the roof(s))

The weather is a lot more pleasant right after Thanksgiving for putting up the decorations than in January for taking them down - even in Texas. (imagine a freezing smileyface here...)

Do you mean this guy ->:cold::cold: LOL

Judy, there is a whole world of smilies out there, ;) but that one is right here on the dis. LOL At the bottom of the smilies list, there is a little button that says "more", click it and a new window will pop up with hundreds of other smilies.

Hope that helps. :coffee:pixiedust::moped::drive::stir::furious::drinking1:mickeybar Some of my favorites.

THIS IS FROM OUR OLD HOUSE. NOW THAT WE ARE IN WINDTUNNEL ZONING WE CAN'T PUT OUT OUR INFLATABLE STUFF. ONE OF MY NEW ONES CAME OUT OF THE GROUND AND WAS HUNG UP ON THE FENCE. IT GOT ALL TORE UP. SO, I DON'T PUT MUCH OUT AT THE NEW HOUSE.

BUT, HERE ARE MY OTHER PHOTOS FROM CHRISTMAS PAST. THE NEIGHBORS WERE ALWAYS MAD AT ME. LOL
