Ok, so there is so much love for the dSLRs on this forum, but we don't want the trusty Point n Shoot's left out!!

Whether you use it as a scouting camera, a secondary camera, your 'days when i don't want to take the big one' camera, or purely your ONLY camera, let's see your best shots!

Feel the love, point and shoot, feel the love

NOTE: None of my photos below have been edited in any way, just shot using the settings available on my point and shoot.

Edit: Hmm, apologies about the over-large sizing on a couple, minor issue with photobucket there methinks..... :goodvibes

Great shots! It just goes to show its not just the camera, but the person behind the camera.

Taken this past winter at the Lake Michigan dunes, late afternoon.
I like that I can put my Panasonic P/S in my zippered coat pocket and not worry about the blowing sand on the dunes. No tripod, as you can see from my shadow.

One of my favorites from my Jan 2012 WDW trip. Left the DSLR at home and only brought my Canon S95.

These pictures are fantastic! What did you use to take them? I'm buying a new camera very soon and I like these results!

Here are a couple shots of current sunspot 1476 taken with my Panasonic FZ35 and the lens of some eclipse glasses taped over the camera lens.

Panasonic TZ5 - a good few years old now but still great! The latest generation, TZ20 i think it is, is even better! Decent megapixels, good amount of manual control, a brilliant 'intelligent auto' mode and on-board optical image stabiliser :)

All of these were from my 2010 trip, before I went ahead and picked up my dSLR. I pretty much hit the "functionality cap*" of my little Canon Powershot A1000IS on that trip, which led me into the dSLR investment. It was a great little camera for the two trips I used it on and my mom (who now has it) loves it. It was pretty cheap too, in the $150 range back in 2009.

*Functionality Cap is something that I kinda made up, but it means that I started to try to push the camera to do stuff that it simply could not do.

 WOW! I love this so much! I really love the colors! If that was a post card I would seriously buy a couple.

I'm a recent point and shoot convert... sorta. I used to use one, then I went up to a DSLR, but I got tired of carrying a heavy camera bag so my husband got me a new point and shoot for my birthday. It hasn't arrived yet, but I'm just as excited to get it as I was when I got my DSLR.

I recently started "reading" (it's mostly pictures) Photo Idea Index - Things and it inspired me to pick up my sony cybershot and start snapping away at everything. These were all taken with that camera.

I actually took pictures of this moth with my point and shoot and my DSLR, and I liked the point and shoot pictures much better. Ha!

Though I shoot with a DSLR and a mirrorless interchangeable lens camera system now, I had a P&S as a backup to my DSLRs for years, and before my DSLR days shot with superzoom and prosumer P&S cameras for nearly 10 years. Some select favorites specifically from Disney World with the P&S cameras:

Wow, thank you so much for the nice compliment! I'm planning to do something with it but I'm not sure what yet. I'm deciding between a gallery wrap type print or a metal print like this: http://www.whcc.com/products/wall-displays/metal-prints/

I saw that in person not long ago and It is such a neat way to display pictures. I think this would be a good one for it - and then I will find a way to display it in my cubicle. :-)

I really like your pictures as well, particularly the moth!
