Show Me: Your Disneyland Hotel Pictures!

Well gang, I'm starting to get really quite antsy for our trip! We're not even in the double digits yet (very soon though!). I've just finished making all the necessary changes to our hotel reservation, we bought our plane tickets, so we're set! *SQUEE*

We're staying inside the Disneyland hotel. Since we're going w/ a group rate, we have no idea what tower/floor/room we're going to be in, which made me curious....

Just what do the inside of these hotels look like? Now I know I've seen sample pictures of the rooms in various spots, but they're just that... sample pictures. I want to see honest to goodness, lived in hotel rooms.

So, Disney Vacationers, I want to see your hotel rooms from the Disneyland hotel! Even if it's of the hallway outside your room, or the main lobby, post it!

I suppose pictures from the GC and the PP would be acceptable too! If it's on the Disneyland Property, let's see those pictures!

Here are some pictures from the Disneyland Hotel from 2003. I apologize for the bad quality, I didn't have a digital camera back then. I was staying in the Marina tower.

The monorail doesn't go into the Disneyland Hotel anymore -- does it???

The monorail never went into the DLH...the station in Downtown Disney is the DLH stop...It has just been re-modeled...never moved...The only hotel that I know of with a monorail that goes into (through it) is the Contemporary in WDW...jc

Actually, many many years ago, the monorail did stop at the Disneyland Hotel. There was a second floor loading and unloading area that you could get into the hotel. The monorail track never moved, but the hotel has been extensively remodeled since then so the track is no longer next to the hotel.

The monorail at DL goes thru the Grand Californian Hotel. That is what the pictures above from the GCH posted by mikayla73 are from. We had a room where the monorail went almost right under us and we never heard a thing.

No, the monorail only stops in Tomorrowland and Downtown Disney. It doesn't actually go through the Grand Californian building (ala the Contemporary), just the grounds.
