Show me: your black/white or sepia photos

I love how this board inspires me to play with pictures in ways I would never have thought about! Here's some pics I was playing with this morning...

I need to find some opportunities to take pictures of something other than my kids! But I thought I'd post another one anyway ;) This is my 6yo playing in my wedding dress. I wish I'd captured more of her face, but I like the way her hands are playing with the dress.

I must say that oblio's globe-trotting shots are making me feel very provincial! Of course, back in my brief globe-trotting days, I was lucky if I remembered to pack a camera! And if I did, the batteries were usually dead.

This is my 9 year old niece at Halloween last year. She is wearing the costume I wore in a May Day program when I was in 3rd grade. Can you guess the May Day theme??

This is my nephew also at Halloween. All of the pictures turned out great using the sepia tone. We found "Old West" frames and gave all the family the pictures for Christmas and they were a huge hit.

since it's been raining, all of the soccer and rugby games were cancelled, so i didn't get to do any sports shooting. but it was a great excuse to shoot the kids.

I really like this one... the eyes and the mouth make her look so innocent.

Obviously photo-edited, but I had to focus on this lanyard that DH insisted wearing the entire trip...

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW she looks so peaceful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a beautiful little girl! Almost makes me want one... I hafta try a puppy first, tho ;)

yeah she is definitely in the "terrible twos" though...every other word being " mine", "no" or a screech...so looks here are deceiving but at least she hasn't chewed up my slippers.... yet:rotfl2:

I love looking at everyone's photos! They are inspiring!

Here's some stuff around my house. The first one, inspired by Kelly Grannell...
