My brother and sister-in-law might help put things in perspective...

Well, I don't see the Partners statue, which should be visible from this perspective. But the statue was not always in the Hub, it was added sometime in the mid-1990s. Prior to that, the Hub had a flower bed of some kind, which probably changed a bit over the years between the park's dedication and the addition of the Partners statue.

The earliest pic I have of the area is from September 1994; where Partners is now, there was a Mickey and Minnie topiary.

It was in place by September 1997, however.

I still shudder when I see that triple-darned cake monstrosity.

Late 70's and just a flower garden no topiary and no statue

Love that shirt!!! We tried to find it when we were there in January, but the only one we found was a size XXL. No way my size 5 DD could wear it.:sad2:
But I will look again in Aug.
Hey, did anyone figure out why they have a picture of Sleeping Beauty Castle from Disneyland on it instead of Cinderella Castle from WDW??

no...it's actually the little upstairs office at the Main Street train station;)

Thanks, now that you said that and I take another look...I now can see it in my mind's eye. I will have to take time on my next trip to stop and take some pics up there.
