Chris, how do you get that effect on your river boat shot? Special lens? Some sort of processing?

Denise-that is a composite, I bracketed the shot with an over and under exposure shot and combined them-quasi HDR.

After hopping off the canoes, I stumble into this mass, confused on where to go:

I sort of understood what you said. I think my camera can do a composite shot but, I've never done it.

I've also never seen it that busy at DLP!! I would go over here for a nice cool ride:

Denise-I cheat a bit at times and do the bracketing on the computer-not in the camera-it can really bring out the shadows and highlights. I really dislike the cartoonish HDR photos, but some of the more subtle HDRs can be really stunning.
