We just returned from a short trip to Disney without the kids and decided to try The Wave. I was a little hesitant because of the bad reviews, but my husband and I loved it! Our server was awesome. Her name was Lori C. The bread was not our favorite, but it was also multigrain and healthy. We had just eaten at Kona the night before, where the bread and butter are fattening and delicious. Sorry back to the Wave. I had the filet and my husband had the flank steak. He's not one to try new flavors and is mostly a steak and A1 type of guy. However he liked the steak with the sauce and guacamole on it. I really enjoyed the greens that came with the filet, because it made the meal lighter and I had room for dessert. They allow you to choose 3 little desserts from a list of about 12 which is perfect. I had the cheesecake, the chocolate mousse, and the carrot and zucchini cake. They were all delicious. Lori had asked us why we were here and in passing I told her we were celebrating our birthdays (the reason for the trip)not the actual day. She brought our dessert and put a candle in them and sang Happy Birthday to us by herself. It was so cute. She was sad when she found out we were on the DDP, because she wanted to give us our dessert for free. She then kept trying to give us things for free (smoothies to take, the light up tinkerbell pins that come on the Pirate's Punch for our girls). The dessert did take a little long to arrive as another review mentioned. We didn't mind though because we were without children. Anyway it was a great meal and we will definately go back.
