... should be "spring cleaning" the kitchen - only half way through but a bit fed up. After that I can start on the bathroom.

Why do I feel a need to be clean for Christmas? (it never happens at the traditional spring cleaning time!)

I shouldn't be on here either! I should be baking cakes, delivering said cakes, wrapping presents, delivering said presents, cleaning bathrooms, hoovering.....
Just having a little break (though technically, I haven't actually started).

I'm about to start a tidy up and clean session, although not a big one as I'm running out of time. I should be packing the car instead. Also DH wrecked the windscreen wipers last night (no patience for scraping ) so I've just had to go out to get that sorted, so more of my time wasted.....I'm cleaning up before we go away tonight as I don't want to do it when we get back on saturday night.
For the first time ever I think I'm going to pack blankets a spade and some food in the car, not looking forward to our 60mile journey tonight.

I'm taking a break from my cleaning too! We have both sets of parents coming over on Christmas day, plus my SIL, BIL and nephew so i feel i have to do a major, major clean!!So far I have cleaned the bathroom, dusted in all the rooms (I even got my long duster out and dusted around the tops of each room), hoovered all the floors except the stairs (which is my next job.) I have washed the rugs and they are folded ready to be put back down and have washed and dried the curtains in the conservatory. Oh and I just got out all the kitchen table cloths, napkins etc. I'm just taking a break before I hoover the stairs and make a start on mopping the downstairs laminate flooring. Which just leaves washing the shower curtain and doing all the loads of washing tomorrow. Oh and the kitchen to clean, but that is DH's job!
I can't wait for next Christmas when I won't have to do all this, we will be in WDW!!

We're also cleaning. Although we are nearly finished, just got to hoover the stairs and hallways. Dh is great at cleaning so he has done most of it.

Its amazing everything that needs done on Christmas Eve, so much for being organised.
