My daughter & I just got back from a 12 day WDW trip.
The only thing we didn't like was the crazy 100+ degree heat, but this was a repeatedly rescheduled trip from May, so we dealt with it.
There was so much more that we loved: no crowding into places, hopping on a ride if we felt like it, lines that flew by quickly, and interestingly enough, more relaxed guests (usually people are running everywhere; there was more strolling, looking around, families interacting than we normally see). We ordered a ton of groceries, and created some different meals together. We played games, went for strolls around the resort, chatted with people, went out to dinner and/or a lounge, had people over (beer/hard seltzer, wraps, guac, etc), etc.
Personally, I think the trip would not have been such a success in a studio - the full kitchen & loads of room made the stay enjoyable.
We're going back in less than 2 weeks, and look forward to enjoying all the above, without the intense heat.
