Should we get the 6-day instead of the 4-day?

Right now we have a package with a 4-day expire, non hopping with pluses (3 visits). We really want to try to do both water parks, DQ, and PI - 4 pluses. The PI tickets are about $16 each from ticketmania... However if we upgradated to a 6-day ticket with pluses it's only about $4-5 more right (estimating based on cost on disney site)??? I assume the different in cost will be about the same if I called to change my package. And we get 4 pluses which we want instead of paying more $$$ on extra PI tickets. We have one day planned at IOA, and another 5 days where one of the days we depart (not until late afternoon). So I guess one day may go unused but we'd still save money by not having to buy a separate PI ticket, right?

We really do not know when we'll be back to WDW as each year we like to do something different we haven't done before. And we are trying to budget so we really don't want to pay the extra $$$ to get non-expiring tickets.

I'm going through a similar cost comparison and it's surprisingly cheap to add on another day or two. I don't have a package so I'm going to buy my tickets from ticketmania. Looking at their ticket prices, it looks like the price difference between a 5-day (expiring, with hopping and plusses) and a 7-day (expiring, with hopping and plusses) is about $6, so I figure I'll go for the 7-day ticket. That will give us the freedom to come and go as we please. In past trips there were times when we had a non-park day and wished we could have had dinner in a park restaurant but didn't want to waste a ticket. But now, by paying an extra $6 or so, we'll have the option to do that AND get two more "plus" tickets, too!

I'm starting to like this new pricing scheme!
