Seeing the crowd posts for October has me EXTREMELY worried now about December.

We have contemplated driving (a long way) down to DL, arriving around the 20th and hanging out for about 5 days. I knew it would be busy, but if they are filling to capacity now in October, then they will be full to capacity by 10am each day for Christmas it would seem. :scared1::scared1:

I understand we would need to use fastpasses etc. But is it even enjoyable? I love the idea of all of the Christmas decorations but I am not sure that it is worth it? :confused3

Thoughts?

Thanks
Vickie

If you are staying walking distance, you can do a LOT in the first 5 =6 hours. Understand MUCH of the crowds are locals in the evening. I'm going in Dec should be fine :santa:

Both SoCal passes are blocked when you are talking about (I think one is blocked starting the 18th and the other the 19th). The really big crowds are Christmas to New Years. I will be there for 4 days starting the 18th. Especially if you are going for 5 days, you will have no problem seeing everything you want to see.

No one but CMs were blocked the night they hit capacity PLUS DCA was closed for the ToT Party, so there was no where for anyone to go but IN DL.

That's when we are going. It will be crowded but definitely doable. Just get there early in the morning.
