first world problem for sure
This is a Disney planning website so of course everything listed here will be a first world problem.
first world problem for sure
Can I just blame both?![]()
I thought as a native Yinzer, you had Heinz instead of blood. The red stuff that comes out when you are cut is tomato-based, no?I'm a native Yinzer (Pittsburgher, that is). I'm not allowed to ingest any condiments except Heinz. It's a rule.![]()

Really cheap restaurants can afford to offer name brand condiments. Being that Disney charges triple and more what a mcdonalds or Bk does, it is really CHEAP on their part. Was in Columbia Harbor House for lunch today. Heinz tartar sauce was a needle in a haystack of a new off name brand. Heinz ketchup is completely gone.View attachment 166903View attachment 166904

This is the stuff visible to the public. What kind of condiments and sauces do you think they're using in the kitchens that re out of sight?

When you're being outclassed by MCDonalds and BK, that is not good.Totally agree. Is Disney not concerned with their brand being damaged? Keep hikiing prices and reducing services - condiments of all things? What is next? Toilet paper quallity or rationing?

Am I the only one who is too cheap to buy name brand condiments, unless they are on sale? I can't really blame Disney for something I do myself.
I do blame those who, for example, bring bread from home but go to the food court for free peanut butter and jelly. I still remember that post! They couldn't understand why it would be a problem to just go to the food court and grab what they wanted. After all, if it is out in the food court it must be free for everyone, right?![]()
Nope. It's true. Just hang out on the boards of a while and you will see how folks manage to stretch their food budget A LOT!...are you kidding me??? Wow

The consumer, when spending their own money at grocery stores, prefers to spend MORE money to get a Heinz Ketchup or a hellman's mayo than the store brands. People will never get mad at you when you choose the industry leader but when you offer "Brand X" and they dont like the taste of it, they'll be very upset that you bought a cheapie brand so you could save half a penny per packet.
And keep in mind that while many people like a little ketchup with their fries, some people just want a little fries with their ketchup.
Penny wise and pound foolish.
