I have to agree with FaithinKarma on this one. I just recently resigned from a website where I ran a vBulletin forum (relocating)...changing a persons profile when they have expressed a negative opinion of that change is definitely abusive.

No pixie dust about it at all.

I'd say that if he is deleting the tags, he really doesn't want them. My guess is that the Tag Fairy did not realize that he was serious and was playing a game with him. I wouldn't delete one if I were given it, but don't really care much one way or the other.

Why do you keep saying the tag fairy has no right to interfere with your profiile? It's not like they are changing any personal information, just the little tag. Hardly worth getting so peeved about. If the board owner doesn't want the tags changed, it's up to him to restrict the access by whomever is able to do it. Until that happens, the tag fairy has every right to add a little something on everyone's profile. Dan asked very nicely for them to stop changing his, and it worked. Perhaps being polite would work for you. I suggest you stop posting about the tag fairy totally. Just walk away from all this nonsense. After a few weeks, you can delete whatever tag is there, and you probably will never get "tagged" again. It's not like everyone gets a tag, anyway.

Yes, and if everyone remembers correctly the same thing was done to Dan and the only reason being was because the tag fairy knew he DIDN'T want a tag.
