Heading "home" the last week of september and we have a couple and their two girls "going" with us. (Actually when they found out we where going they changed their dates so we could be there at the same time, I'm not exactly thrilled about this but that is for another post)
I'm scrapping my kids autograph books this trip and I'm considering making their girls one as well. They will only be there for 3 of the parks and we have ressies at Norway with the princesses the night we arrive. I don't want their girls to feel left out but I already have 3 books to make. Would you make them an autograph book? I thought about making them each a mini book to put pics in when they get back instead. (planning on buying a kit at M, HL or Walmart, not using my cricut like the auto books)

What would you do???

Do you get these kids birthday or Christmas gifts? If so then I might make them a mini-book when you return and give as a gift for them for Christmas (or birthday if that is not too far away from the return of your trip).

No we don't buy gifts for them, our kids have never even met!!!! Great idea though!!

I would make two plainer autograph books for the girls. :) I am sure the girls will really like it. :)

Thanks for the replies!! I think I'm going to finish up my kids and if I have time try and make the other girls one as well. Thanks again!!

I would just mention to the other Mom that her girls will need autograph books and let her decide whether she wants to make them for her daughters or buy one when she gets there.

And I would also say - let's meet for dinner or some such thing and NOT plan on touring with them all day every day. First, it will make you NUTS and second, then they won't know what they're missing vis a vis the autograph books.

I second this idea!!

I have sort of the same situation. I made autograph books for my nieces and now they have a friend that will be there at the same time that we will be meeting up with for dinner (some character) and parades. I made their 2 little girls autograph books, but I just did up the cover really cute and left the inside as various colors of cardstock. They have a "special" book, but much easier to make.

That's a brilliant idea. Also, if their mom is not a scrappy person;) she wouldn't necessarily appreciate all the work that went into a full-scale book (i'm very careful who I "waste" my work on - my DSis doesn't appreciate it, mum and MIL both do).
