Should I ?

It is cold and nasty out. Real cold and nasty And my Pearl needs fuel.

The DH has never driven Pearl. He is not the best of drivers.

The 7-11 is about 5 miles from our house. Should I let him drive her and hope for the best? Suck it up and go myself? The oldest boy his truck is here I could drive it but his stereo thing unfolds from the dash and I dont know how to turn it off/down I guess I could drive it Wednesday, but I would have to listen to Nelly all day

Because it will still be cold and I dont want to mess up my hair first thing in the morning!!!!

That's what I do. I can count on one hand the number of times I've pumped gas in my 38 years.

I don't pump unless I'm driving. Hope your DH is the same.

Take the boys truck the noise will distract you on how cold you are.

I said other. Go get gas but I agree with having hubby go with and pump!!

Do you have a full service gas station where the employee pumps it for you? Sometimes it costs a bit more ... but between the added cost and tip, it's worth it to not have to pump the gas in the frigid cold!!!! That's always my game plan. However, I'm always hoping that DH is driving the car when it's close to needing gas b/c then he'll pump it. I had to pump gas today (freezing cold plus potential of heavy snows by morning) b/c I wanted to have a full tank for the morning drive tomorrow!
