We are going May 30-June 5. Just wondering if I buy now or wait. Is there a chance the tickets will get cheaper? I have the money now but I want to get Disney gift cards from Target and use them to buy them. Also should I get the highest amount giftcard is there a limit to how many you can use at one time?

Tickets will not get cheaper. The advantage to buying them early is one you enter the numbers in My Disney Experience you will be able to reserve your Fast Pass + at either 60 days out (onsite guest) or 30 days out (offsite). You cannot get any FP+ without registered ticket media. IF you get the gift cards you can call Disney and order your tickets over the phone and give them the Target purchased Disney gift card numbers. I don't think that there's a limit to how many you can use though. I just went through putting tickets in the cart and started the check out process. Once yo usage them to people and get ready to pay theres a section to enter the gift card number. I'm pretty sure that you can enter more than one

You could wait for a little bit, but when your 60 day FP+ window opens, I would buy them before then. That way you can make sure you get a fastpass for attractions you really would like to do. Many of the most popular attractions such as Anna and Elsa meet and greet, seven dwarfes mine train, and the wishes fireworks viewing fasts area all book up quite quickly.

Like others have said, the only advantage right now is the ability to make FP+ selections 60 days in advance (if staying on-site). Tickets will not get cheaper and the price just increased.

Keep in mind that Target only sells Disney Gift Cards in the $50 denomination so it will be a huge pain since they will have to enter them in one-by-one. But it can be done.

I don't think you will find cheaper.

I would try and buy prior to your FP+ booking window to optimize your selections. This isn't to say you will be shut out. But options are always better when the window opens.

That said, we have had consistent luck at 30 days or less for most attractions. Varied luck checking parades and fireworks. Some luck, but later times late afternoon and later) for mine train. No luck with Anna and Elsa. So delaying is not the end of the world.
