Should I "Unlink" MVMCP Tickets

I read that I shouldn't link these to my MDE account because it might accidently use a park ticket when we enter. But I bought these tickets on Monday and viola!--they were automatically linked to my account!

Should I unlink them or not worry about it?

I had no problems with my Christmas tickets on the magic bands, but I was also using an Annual Pass.

If you really don't want to worry about it, get a free hard plastic version of the party ticket (go to any Guest Relations) and use THAT to enter the MK for the party (and don't scan the MB at the MK gates at that time.)

We received hard tickets in the mail without even asking for them.

I did order hard tickets. They were still linked automatically as soon as the transaction was complete. Tickets are not even supposed to arrive until June.

I also ordered hard tickets and recieved them already in the mail and they were automatically linked to MDE. I wouldn't worry. Last year I manually linked our MVMCP tickets to MDE and had no issues at all. I don't think they would have them linked at ordering if it was going to cause a big problem.

It was a problem for some last year but they could very well have solved the problem by now. As a PP said, you can always just use your plastic card ticket to get in for the party instead of the band. That way you dont risk anything.

Spoke with the CM when ordering and asked about this. She said there have been issues when linking, AND using MB to get in AND entering BEFORE the official start at 7pm.

I could totally see the system thinking some one entering early is just using their park day.

Just to be safe i printed my eticket and will use that. Fyi the .pdf etix you can only get when ordering online not over the phone. I live overseas so best option.

This was a problem last year. I was going to MNSSHP on 10/31 & 11/1. The 10/31 tickets I purchased online & printed out. I later linked those to my MBs. The 11/1 tickets wouldn't print due to an error. So, a few days before the parties I went to guest services at MK & they issued me hard tickets for the 11/1 party. When the CM noticed my 10/31 tickets on the band, he removed them & also gave me hard tickets for that night. I don't remember exactly what issue they were having even though he described it to me at the time. I had hoped it would be worked out by now, but I guess not. As the PPs recommended, it would probably be best to scan your hard ticket, not your MB to enter.
