Should I try to change ADR now?

We have an ADR for Wolfgang Pucks for the day we arrive at WDW. I made it there because I wanted something close and not in the parks in case we decided to to go that day and just swim and go to DTD. But now i am not sure this was a good idea.

I don't know where else outside the parks to go that first night.

Plus our first night is June 4th so it is not like there is much time left to switch.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Are you staying onsite? Check with the front desk/lobby "concierge" to see if there's any ADRs available anywhere else you'd like to eat. If you check with them early in the day, they might be able to find something for you.

If not, you'll still have your current ADR to fall back on.

we are staying at CBR. I just was afraid we would get in too late to get a new ADR that day since check in is not until 3:00pm. Can I call conceirge before we check in?

You can check in at any time of day. Your room just is not guaranteed to be ready until after 3pm. You can call 407-WDW-DINE (939-3463) at any time after 90 days before your trip to check for ADRs. It's just that the front desk concierge who makes dining reservations can check the entire system in person. You don't have to wait until 3pm.

Just wondering why you are not sure you made the right choice? We ate there one evening and the food was good. What are your concerns?

If it doesn't work out when you get there, you could always cancel.

My dd is not being cooperative at dinner times right now and I kind of figured it would not be the best place. Plus the reviews I have read kind of make me think it is hit or mis service wise. I just thought if there was some more kid friendly place outside the parks I would try to change. We can do the CS at Puck's another day.
