I have been trying to figure this out online but am having issues. I have booked a 7 night stay at the All Star Sports with the 40% off military discount, we have the DDP as well. I then saw pictures of the pools at Caribean Beach Resort and the pirate themed rooms and thought, OMG the boys would love this! So if I can get the buy 4 get 3 deal would that be as cheap as the 40% off the All Stars? Anything I plug in adds tickets which we will buy seperate with the awesome military deal.

At this point I may even have to cancel as dh started a new job and had to take a week off when all 5 of us got the flu, so he may not have the time now to go. That is why I don't want to call and ask....I want to leave things as they are just in case I need to cancel.

Thanks to anyone still reading and for any help figuring out what the prices are...if it's just a little more to CB then I will want to switch.

Just go online and price how much all stars is for your stay vs CBR and then minus out and get the difference. I would estimate about $75 a day difference.

this is assuming you can even get a ressie

You have to add at least one day of tickets to get the package.
BTW...you are under no obligation whatsoever if you call and ask about pricing. You can even tell them what you have now and they will compare to see what the best deal is. If you think your boys would love the pirate rooms, you should look into it to see if it is even feasible. At least get the information so you can make a good decision. You don't have to change anything when you call.

Ok so to get the 4/3 deal you have to buy at least one ticket for each person? That makes a difference as we are getting the military tickets and I don't think they count those. My other issue in calling is that right now due to school building issues we are homeschooling so my kids are around ALL the time! LOL As of right now they don't even know we are going, it's a surprise.

Thanks for the info, I am going to try to figure it out!

In order to get the 4/3 deal you need to purchase tickets as part of the package.

So, price out the 4/3 package, including dining and tickets, and compare that with what you have already (40% plus dining, plus cost of the military tickets).

There is another option also. If you get the 4/3 package, you could still get the military tickets. Then, when you get your KTTW card, have them separate the tickets from the room keys. and DON'T use these tickets. You will then have 7 day tickets (one for each of you) (unused) that will never expire, and next time you go to Florida, you can use them.

I just checked the Disney website; assuming that you are going when your ticker counter says - there was no room availability for the 4/3 deal for CBR that week... so you may have to call. It is only coming up POR or POFQ.

It depends on how booked the resort is.... when I switched over to the 4/3 deal, POR was not included that particular week because that resort was already booked. I got lucky and got an upgrade for less money to a deluxe.

You may have to go with the luck of the draw. But it never hurts to call - if you can find some opportunity to get to a "safe" place to call!

Previous poster was incorrect, you need to get a 7 day ticket per person.

Price it out online, it'll take 2 minutes. Let us know what the price difference is.

Also, the military is a 5 day ticket, while this would be the full 7 days. Something to keep in mind.

Ok thanks for the help....just got off the phone and to get the 4/3 deal you MUST buy at least a 5 day ticket....which we will not be doing. So there ya go, we will stay where we are and try CB next trip! Thanks for listening!

You have to buy park tickets, it is a package deal.

The other option is seeing if they have CBR available with the 40% off. The 4/3 deal is very close to the 40% room only special that they are offering now too. For us, the 4/3 worked out a little better but it may be close enough to be worth it if you already have tickets. Definitely worth a try!!

Ok so this is what I came up with pricewise:

All Stars Sports
Hotel and Meal Plan: $1,214.00
Tickets for 3 of us for 5 days with DQ option: $ 447

TOTAL:$1,661

Disney Site staying at Port Orleans:

Hotel, 5 tickets and meal plan: $2,285

The difference: $624 which I don't know if dh will agree too plus I would only want to switch if we could get CB and that is not coming up for the dates we need. Oh well, next time!

When I first booked she brought up everything that was available in our time range, and we were actually shut out of when we wanted to go which was the week after Thanksgiving, because there are only so many military rooms set aside. The only other things open were the super expensive villas for like $10,000 for the week!:scared1: We literally got the last rooms available for the militray deal. I had to wait to book because dh was unemployed and obviously we weren't going to go if he was out of work, thus I lost out on any dates we wanted.

I may call again and ask if there is anything open at CB for that week....you never know!

I agree; no sense switching to something that you are not interested in staying at and doesn't work with your budget. You don't need anymore stress than you already have.... but do consider slipping over there and checking the place out. It might be fun to get the kids ready for your next trip.... I stayed there one year. It is wonderfully decorated for Christmas!

Ok I just got off the phone and I can switch to the new room same dates, with 40% off and it will be $367 more....off to phone dh and work my disney magic! LOL

You may have to give specific discount codes. It depends on who you get on the phone. Some know the codes (or are willing to look for them) more than others. Just check the website for the 40% off code and have them check that along with the military discount. The rooms available for each code are different.

LOl....I am a step behind on everything today!:laundy:

Good luck on whatever you decide!:wizard::flower3:

Have you checked to see if you can get the military discount at CBC? We got an amazing deal for our trip (last week) staying at the THV. I originally booked a room only at SSR and then called back to switch it to THV. In talking to the CM she checked and found us a great military discount rate for the THV and we were able to add in the dining plan without purchasing park tickets (it's part of the military ticket deal they have going on now). So even with adding in the dining plan I still ended up paying less than the original room only reservation I booked.

Whoo HOOOOO!!!! We are going to stay at CBR!!!! Pirate Room!!! OMG I am so exctied, dh said ok to the extra $$! I think I am more excited then the boys are going to be!!!! Thank you all for talking me through this, I would never have thought to call again and ask, but this just proves everything you read....KEEP CALLLING you never know!!!

Now if I could just up my Crystal Palace ressie everything would be golden!! LOL

Now I have to make pirate shirts too!!!

Yay!! Congrats! That is REALLY exciting! The pirate rooms are going to be a huge step up from AllStars, you are going to love it! And the boys are going to be thrilled I'm sure! Pirate beds!!

Now, what do we need to be doing for Crystal palace??:rolleyes1

I call everyday for the ressie and I check online....we have a pretty early on at 9:10am but I would really like the 8am one! OMG I can't even express how excited I am right now! So much more research to do now on the new hotel!
