Staying at BWV and thinking about doing 8am EMH at MK, AK, and EPCOT. Now, I know EPCOT would work out fine because we are so close and will have plenty of time to eat/shower/sunscreen everyone before leaving. With MK and AK I hesitate.

To arrive at MK and AK for 8am what time would you say I need to leave Boardwalk? 7am?

Also, if we do arrive at 8, what time would you say we would need to start getting fastpasses. We have gone to Disney many times and NEVER done EMH before.

Thanks!

I leave to go to what every park an hour before I want to get there as fair as FP go it depends on you I get my first one to start around 10:39-11

We are normally Rope drop people, however, I debate the having to get up extra early to get there vs how nice it would be to get out early in HOT August. We usually leave the park by 11:30am to head back fro lunch/nap and then come back around 4pm...If that helps any advice

I like using the morning EMH so I can do the things I especially want to do before the park gets busy. I will say that the last time I went to AK for morning EMH, it was a lot more crowded than I'd ever seen before. Maybe because it was May. Most people, me included, headed to the Safari, but it was still a fairly short wait. Epcot was great. When you come through the IG from BW, it is so nice to walk through WS without a lot of people. Granted you can't go inside any of the shops, but my favorite part are the buildings anyway so it was awesome.

One more reason we like the early EMH. That earlier hour is still cooler than it will be later, and you will probably be ready to head back to your resort by noon or so. If you know you'll leave the parks around lunch time, you may want to schedule your FP+ for the early evening when you return to the parks. If you hit the headliners in those first two hours and then some of the less popular for the second two hours, you may not need FP at all in the morning.
