Please calm down people. I believe he is simply concerned about his younger sister joining a public forum such as this. He has a valid concern if his sister is younger than most on this board.

In a previous post this is what he stated were his intentions regarding this poll : "One day she asks if I could tell her the site of the DIS boards, so she could join. I am not trying to say that DIS boarders are untrustworthy, but I am trying to look out for her. If she starts with this board, who knows what sites she could end up at!"

Should I let my VMK playing sis join the DIS boards?

Whenever I find something cool, my sister always wants it! And whenever we are do things like VMK or Disney's ToonTown she says "hi brother!", trying to point out the fact we are siblings.

One day she asks if I could tell her the site of the DIS boards, so she could join. I am not trying to say that DIS boarders are untrustworthy, but I am trying to look out for her. If she starts with this board, who knows what sites she could end up at!

So here's the question: Should I let my sister join the DIS boards, or stop her in her tracks?

Kindof contradicts itself doesn't it....he states one reason why and then another... I tend to beleive the first is the real reason.

He also never states she is younger.

When I read the post I was under impression that he was older brother with cool stuff and younder sister wants to follow; therefore found out about site and now wants to be involved as well. Also that she is telling everyone he is her brother, that is giving out personal info. He also stated that if she starts here on this forum who knows where else that might lead. That lead me to believe she has never been on a public forum before. Who knows , either way he is just a kid, being a kid. Don't be too hard on him!

My sister still hates me, and threatened to report me on VMK. But at least she is save!

my brother posts on here and i am glad for it. what you could do is watch her while she posts and stuff that way she isn't going to sites she might not be allowed to go to. BUT the dis is pretty cool on keeping the bad sites out.
