Should I go out in the cold?

It's 28 degrees right now and I probably should go to the store to pick up DH's prescription and something for lunch tomorrow. But it's 28 degrees!!!!!!! I should go tonight, but I could wait until tomorrow. But, then I have to drag the boys in with me. But it's 28 degrees!!!!! I've got about an hour to decide before the pharmacy closes. Of course, by then it could be 25 degrees.

Actually, I'd go tonight without the kiddos. Much easier to bundle yourself up and go somewhere in the cold than it is to do that and take the boys too.

It's about that cold here too and I don't want to go out either. I dropped the kids off at school and picked them up but am staying in now. I have to be at the office tomorrow, so I have no choice, but for now I'm staying put. My vote is to stay in!

The temp dropped here as well.... 37 degrees!! and Im sure it will get colder.
I went outside tonight and it was soooo cold.. I dont like the cold , I dont do well in the winter months.

It's around 23 degrees here - I know that because the dog insisted on going potty.

And I was wearing a short sleeve shirt and didn't grab a coat to take him out.

Sorry, just had to laugh. I guess I never would have thought twice about going somewhere when it was 28 degrees out. I probably wouldn't even zip my coat in that temp. Now, when it gets to the -40 range, I would rather stay in, thanks. It is 30 here right now and I was thinking, wow, it's really warm out. We have thick blood up here though.

I think part of the issue, at least for us, is that we've had such warm weather and then BAM winter hit. No snow, but cold temps that seem even colder since it didn't happen gradually. A couple of weeks ago we went on a little hike to see the fall leaves and I wore shorts and sandals (shirt, too ). That is not normal for early November around here. And even a few days ago my kids were wearing shorts or lightweight pants and short sleeves. We will get used to it and it won't seem quite so cold, but brrrr right now.

golfgal, we lived in Wisconsin for a couple years and I know the kind of cold you're talking about. There were times our car wouldn't even start it was so cold. Thankfully we lived there before we had kids--I can't imagine getting kids "bungled up" (as my son calls it) to go outside.
