It is my understanding that ticket prices are set to increase tomorrow as reported in yesterday's Orlando Sentinel. Here is my question: should I buy them now or hope for a Dec. deal? If I buy the tickets now they cannot be applied to a future pkg. deal, but they could be upgraded to AP's. I'm thinking the special that may be offered for late fall will be a ticket upgrade instead of a room discount.

Any thoughts or advice?

It is my understanding that you can always upgrade tickets at any time. I've never upgraded to APs though. Up until this year, I have only added additional days to my tickets. This year, we did get a free water parks and more ticket upgrade added to my tickets after I had already purchased them. I found the "special offer" on the Disney website. I called Disney reservations and told them what I found and I got the free upgrade. But, these tickets were part of my package.
