I'll explain the simplest way I know.
My DH and I currently have connecting OV rooms for the Fantasy next May. My brother, his wife and two of their children have connecting OV rooms next door.
When we booked, it was going to be DH and I in one, DD and her best friend in another. Due to numerous changes with DH's job, and DD's best friend not being able to go, I will eventually need to cancel one of our rooms. Well, it looks like DD might not go now, as she'd rather take a mini-mester in college, to graduate sooner. DH is fine with me going alone (actually, I'll still be traveling with my brother's family.)
Should I (after I cancel one of my rooms) change my husband's name, and have my nephew share a room with me? I'm platinum, and he'd be able to join the adults at Palo (and have the complimentary Palo meal.) Or....
Should I cancel both of my rooms, and just share one of the connecting rooms (with my niece and nephew?) If I do that, would I lose my onboard OBC? If his nephew shares a room with me, he'll cancel one of his connecting OV rooms.
I'd call DCL, but I know they already busy enough with all of the cruise cancellations.
I'm leaning toward option one.
Thank you!
