Should I cancel our QSDP or not.....

I am planning on 3-4 sitdown meals. Cape May, Whispering Canyon, Sci-Fi and one other......

4 teenagers plus a husband with a good appetite but still think that somehow we will have CS meals left.....

I DO NOT think it is worth it to upgrade to the regular dining plan as we like appetizers not desserts.......and inevidably(sp?) we are enticed to order dessert because it is included....this ups the tip. I have been trying to do $ and cents and adding 6 desserts DOES up the tip lol....no wonder the CMs highly recommend you trying them....anyway...

I am purchasing TIW as I will be in the World 3 times in the next year so will use it extensively.

I think cancelling may work.....and let my kids just charge their CS to the room? Then we all meet up for the one sit down?

If one of us drops their room key.....can it be used/abused by a stranger?

I think my kids may think its cool to have charging priviledges......

Sounds like no Dining Plan might be the best for this trip.

Aren't there a few CS places that take the TiW card? I've never purchased the TiW but I thought it included some CS places.

As long as you trust you children not to abuse the charging, it would be better than a Disney Gift card. If one of them mis-places the KTTW card it can be cancelled quickly and then re-issued so someone else can't use it. A gift card is just gone if mis-placed.

You can add charging to all of their cards, or just a few.

I would cancel. With the QSDP you have to use ALL your QS credits to come close to coming out ahead on the money.

Now, it looks like you're planning your TS meals for dinner, so you COULD use those leftover QS credits for breakfast. That would take care of your worry about charging privileges on the KTTW card and allow for more food for those teenagers!
