When I got on right at 7:00 to get my fast passes 60 days out yesterday the only time I could time I could a to Seven Dwarfs Mine train was 8:30pm. I'm thinking I should let it go because it will keep me from getting anymore FP for the day. What do you all think?

If the ride is important to you , I would hold on to it and keep trying for a better time closer to your trip. You can also try to get it rope drop one morning and then change that FP. Another choice is to try for an early PPO at BOG and probably get a ride on SDMT that way.

I am in a similar situation though mine isn't AS late as yours. I got my FOP FP first, but I missed the memo that I needed to schedule my 7DMT immediately after that one! I guess the question is - are you planning to rope drop? If yes, then I would make that the priority and drop the FP. Or keep the FP and keep trying...which is what I'm doing. We are not going to rope drop that day, so I'm hoping something works out - for both of us!

I didn't understand the importance of grabbing the ones you want first either. I was just doing them by the time I wanted to ride. Then when I got to the most popular ones they were already gone or only night times. This was by 7:06am!

I'm sorry I'm new to this. What is an early PPO at BOG?
By booking the early breakfast, you get into the park before it officially opens. While the rides won't be open yet, after you finish with your breakfast, you will be allowed to go over to the Mine Train area and get in line ahead of the rope drop people.

The odds are better that you can find a different time FP for 7DMT then a ADR for BoG that early. The restaurant ADR have been able to be booked 180 days out while the Fast Pass window is much smaller.

If you want to ride the mine train, keep it and continue to look for different times. Are you going to a Halloween Party? You can ride it then too since the park attendance is limited during the party.

Well, I *did* know but I just underestimated how quickly the 7DMT would go and didn't make it a priority to reserve. :sad2: But, the good news is that you can keep checking all the way up to and even the day of. You never know what will pop up.

When is your MK day? What size is your party?

I just looked on my Disney experience and there were no breakfasts available at Be our Guest.

We were not planning on going to the Halloween party. It kind of irked me to have to buy another ticket so we decided to just do a park a day and chose MK on the day they were open late. Is it not crowded at the Halloween night?

I'd let it go and plan to rope drop. At MK it's easy to get 4th, 5th, 6th FPs... etc etc, which you'd be missing out on.

The only evening FPs I have are days that we're in the water parks in the daytime.

That said, some rides are more fun in the dark...

There is 6 of us and we are going Oct 9-12.

So, definitely look for smaller groups - like 2s and 3s - with overlapping times. Since you are going during the week vs. a weekend, I'm hoping for you that the crowds will be smaller. I lean towards @flortlebap 's advice of dropping it and try to do it last thing before you leave the park or rope drop.

I went a similar week last year. Our fastpasses were all for earlier in the day but to be honest, the fast pass options once we could book our 4th in the afternoon were not great. I'd hang onto the FP for now and keep checking for better times.
