Should I buy the Entertainment Book?

We are staying offsite but plan to eat our meals in the parks.Could you please give me your opinion?Are the fast food coupons only good for the Orlando area or can I use them on the trip down and back(we are driving)? TIA

Where you are staying would probably influence my answer. Entertainment book gives some really great savings on off site hotels. If you are not going to use it for that, though, I'd probably not get it. Since you will be eating at the parks, it won't save you anything there. Also, the fast food coupons are supposed to only be good at selected locations...meaning almost all will only be good in Orlando. Perhaps, you could consider getting the book for your home area and seeing if the coupons in there would work on the drive down and back.

Now having said all that, if you think that there is even a chance that you would be eating outside of the parks, even once or twice, it wouldn't take much to recoup the $10 cost of the book.

Just my opinion. Anyone else?

If you just need the coupons for the restaraunts in Orlando, you could sign up for the Savings Subscription (check entertainment.com) right before your trip, print all the coupons you need (they will be valid for 14 days), come back and cancel your subscription, In this case it will be free (or 3.99/month). That's what I plan to do.

Do you get the coupon for the free weekend day for car rental too with the subscription? None of the books are for my area, but I would like to see what it would do to my rental rate...

The coupons for car rental/hotels are not included in the Savings Subscription - that's what they told me when I called Entertainment. The way the lady I talked to explained it to me is that one needs a card AND a coupon to get a car rental discount, but the card does not come with the Subscription Savings (it comes with the book though), so we can not use travel discounts with the subscription. She did not sound like she was 100% sure though - I asked this question on the boards before but nobody seemed to know.
Try to call them and ask?
