I been researching the boards for a good week now and thanks to a tip received a magical offer which equates to 30% discount for a 7 day stay at the Poly CL / GV in October of this year.

The offer includes room/tickets and a bonus water park tickets for our family of four.

Since we have never done club level, I am wondering if this is a good deal and if I should take it. Last time we visited WDW was four years ago and I received a PIN for a 35% off deluxe rate but we just standard room. Of course it was for a specific date specified by Disney.

Should I go ahead and snatch the 30% off magical offer for the CL room or can I get better. I have seen members mentioning 4o-50% discounts - which seems very atypical, but wanted to confirm before I book. Thank you in advance!!

40% and 50% discounts are only for CMs and their friends/family. Sometimes stacking discounts with Expedia gets higher discounts, but it's not something I'm super familiar with - there's a thread dedicated to it in this forum though.

Publicly, you won't get better than 30%. I'd book it if that's what you want.

I'd book it... You may see Disney offering 35% of rack rates in October later in the year; if you do you can always cancel the agency booking and go with Disney.

We were able to use their Labor Day agency exclusive and got about 52% off rack rates for our Poly SV room but it is only available for a small window between August 16 & September 8.

That's twice now I have read something about people getting "magical offers". Are these like pin codes? Can you share the tip you learned? We are currently booked for end of June into July, and I am hoping for a discount of some sort, either for where we are booked (POR) or for an upgrade.

Disney doesn't have pins or discounts out for this time yet.

Fairly confident OP is referring to a BB offer.

The OP is probably talking about a Travel Agency. I don't think their name is allowed to mention on these boards though. The thread will be locked if it is!

I would absolutely grab the 30% off!!! Then if something comes up that works better for you, you can switch. I wouldn't pass on a decent offer like you have, then get stuck paying more if nothing good comes out. :-)

Wrong...

We have a winner!

It only takes about 5 minutes of research on the boards to find out who the travel agency is and how to find them... Take the time; it's definitely worth the effort.

Indeed! I have just booked with a travel agency. My offer is for Thanksgiving Week at Poly. I think there is a labor day offer as well. You would have to check the specials for dates. There are several other resorts offered as well. You do get park tickets with the offer, but cannot purchase the dinning plan. You would have to figure out whether this is worth it for your family. If Disney comes out with a lower offer, the travel agent will give you the lower price. I think it seems to be a win/win scenario.

Thanks for the replies. We booked it and are headed to Poly CL in October! Yes, it was a travel agency deal for resort and park tickets + bonus, no dining plan. Because we are doing CL, we are definitely not doing the dining plan, so no biggie for us. Feeling very good about the discount and the fact that we are able to go the specific dates we want to and don't need to do a split reservation like we had to the first time we went as the PIN was tied to a specific set of dates specified by Disney.
