Should I book now?

I am waiting for codes/AP rates to come out for a June trip to WDW. Hoping to add 4 nights at the Polynesian. I will only do this if a reasonable rate becomes available, but I am getting nervous because it seems "late" and I want to book.

My question is, should I book now? Is it relatively easy to book the full-fare room and then request the discount when it becomes available? Has anyone done this? I am worried about a mixup and will just WAIT if it is easier to book with codes in the first place. Reality is, it would kill me to cancel but if I didn't get a code I would HAVE to...

Any advice would be appreciated.

I would go ahead and book the rooms. We had our resort stay payed for when the codes came out. We just called and asked to apply the code and about 1-2 weeks later we received a refund of the about $500 we had saved by useing the code.
We have already booked our Aug. stay and would love a code but are willing to pay full price if we have to. Hope new codes come out for you soon!:D

Go ahead and book. That's what we did. Then when the rates came out we had them apply the code to our resie. No problem whatsoever. And, with Disney its so easy to cancel. You get 100% of you money back if you cancel before 5 days out (I think)and they get it to you in about two weeks (we've had to do that before too).

Nothing to lose.

Have fun.
