Should I be nervous?

We are planning a two-week stay at Sapphire Falls next April - extended family from England and Canada, so booking extra-early! I booked online on Monday, but I noticed the deposit had not gone through to my credit card this afternoon. I went online and tried to call up my reservation, as per the email I received, and it couldn't be found. I called the hotel...and waited over 45 minutes to get to speak to someone ... and was told everything is ok, deposit has been made. I told him I was worried the deposit hasn't gone through yet, and I can't find the reservation online, but was told "not to worry about it"

Is this a "thing" with Universal? Do deposits take longer than 48 hours to get sent to a credit card?
 
Did you get a confirmation email? Then don't worry about it.
Yes, I did, and the deposit just went through last night. But I cannot find the reservation on-line. Perhaps it's because almost a full year away. Thanks for your reply!
