Alright..I know it was Christmas and you're supposed to be with family and all that jazz, but honestly.

My SIL brought her DS1 who was sick with croup, coughing all over the place and giving everybody (esp my DS) his germs. *sigh* I was hoping DS would avoid this, since he goes back to school next week, but yesterday he started coughing a little. Nothing barky, just sort of dry. He's been begging me to go back to school because he is so bored. The weather has been all over the place, so he hasn't gotten to play outside a lot. I don't want him to have to miss school and be stuck inside for another week or two because he got croup from his cousin.

This would upset me too. But she may have thought he wasn't contagious anymore, or she may just be clueless. I hope your son feels better soon!

Oh he feels fiiiine. Nothing, not even being sick, seems to keep him down.

I vote for 'just clueless' actually. S'ok...she's getting bit in the butt by karma right now as it is. She and her DH bought their DS1 a miniature electric drumkit with a MICROPHONE. And REAL walkietalkies..not those silly play ones that don't work half the time. These are loud. And have an annoying call button that sounds like a ringing telephone.;) He also managed to destroy (although how I'm not entirely sure) the brand new Leapster2 he was given as a Christmas gift already.

Oy. I love my nephew but sometimes I wonder about my SIL...
