Not only the show. They could drop the disboards too with no notice if nobody wanted to deal with them any more. Happened to a podcast and movie forum my fiance follows. One day it was there and everything seemed cool next morning the guys who ran it decided they were done and pulled everything down with no notice at all.

You don't know anything about me or how I feel about the show. I just don't feel I'm entitled to the show.

They don't have too, I didn't pay anything for it. I don't really care that it didn't happen, it's not going to change my day. The OP might have been dialed up to 11 with how they posted but he's expressing a criticism on how he does care that everyone else couldn't do it. To a small degree, I would have loved the show to continue on so while I don't care that it didn't happen I think he has a great point and there are ways it could have. Is it worth it to pete to have the show happen in his illness, that's for him to decide.

Do you not agree that it would be great if they could do it without the studio on short notice? This really isn't about it not happening, it's about how we would like it to be able to happen in the future.

No I don't agree.
I like the high quality of the studio productions. The out of studio stuff they do is different to the show, and they're doing those in abundance, so no, I don't want RYNO to run out and do something random for the sake of putting a show out.
They're professionals, they're better than that.
I also respect Petes decision and my whole world isn't going to crumble without a show. Sure, I was like "oh dang" when I saw it was cancelled, but I moved on in about 0.5 seconds.
I'll listen to another podcast, maybe listen to an old episode.
My life doesn't hang in the balance on whether there's is a show.

I have yet to find anyone funny with the possible exception of Jack. As @DisneyKevin once told me, everyone is entitled to an opinion and is entitled to be wrong.

In an attempt to further derail, I have a question. If I sent @jcb $5 as a retainer does that mean that he can't represent Pete for his restraining order against me? I just really want it lifted before July for some trip I may be taking.

Thanks for dragging me into this.... . I'm sorry but I'm thinking about intervening in Pete's restraining order proceeding . . . so I would have a conflict if I represented you.

Let the record show that in my two posts on this thread, I stated that I agreed with the original poster, and that his analogy was ALMOST great. I have been very encouraging.

The only person I was negative towards in this thread was @NeuroCindy, but that's only because she invited me over to her germ dungeon.

I understand that you're new to the boards, so you may not know all of us personally, but please don't assume that the show is any less important to others than it is to you. The show is important to all of us, but we all relate to it in different ways, and we all react differently to things that happen with the show. Just because someone can't comprehend your reaction, doesn't mean the show isn't important to that person. Please give the rest of us the same respect and consideration that you're asking us to give you.

To be fair, Pete tells us pretty often that he's very appreciative of us.
Maybe we should be appreciative of him and his team and let him have a day off when he's ill?

He posted it on Facebook too. Pete also did an unboxing video of the Disneyland opening day merch box he bought. John and Kevin also did a video that they sent from Aulani giving a sneak peak at their vacation.
