Should dd bring her HP robe to wear?

First timer going to Universal. I know at WDW, when doing the character meals, it's very common for kids to dress up like their favorite characters. DD is nuts for HP and was Hermoine for Halloween. She has a robe and tie. Will there be any opportunities for her to wear this while at Universal? Or leave it at home?

I'm thinking the same thing...you can see my ds is ready to go! ;-) I have seen posts that it happens--hoping we'll both get confirmation.

Personally I even considered looking for an adult robe/hat on Hallowe'en clearance (I could pass for Molly Weasley at a distance!), but I know it's generally less accepted for adults. (But I'd be willing to go for it!)

We saw lots of kids and adults dressed up when we were there. I don't see why not, it would be fun to get pictures with the train conductor as well as the students that you see. I only had one guy who really did not like to get his picture taken so we were nice enough to make sure he was not in it when we took a picture of the store.

I love seeing kids dressed up in full wizard robes walking the streets of Hogsmeade with a frosty butterbeer!! She should certainly do it!

Children can wear costumes but no adult costumes. They also sell authentic Harry Potter robes there.

My DD wore her robe all day the first day. She enjoyed the attention the Cast Members in the store gave her. One just talked and talked to her. The second day DD ditched the robe because of the record heat.

It's fun to have so many pictures of the area with DD in her robe.

My DD12 has been saving her $$ for a year to purchase her robe, wand and tie. We had cool weather and she wore it all day...every day we were there...in both parks...and even on the plane going home. Matter of fact, I think she has it on still! LOL! It really added to the fun of our trip and she loved it!
