I don't pretend to have the answer, but I believe that a wall/fence etc isn't the answer.

Stephen Colbert said on The Colbert Report the other night that would like to see an invisible fence like they use for dogs....then we could make all the Mexicans wear the electronic collars. Of course he was kidding (and I even laughed) but the context he expressed was clear....a sad idea.

The US is all about how to win friends and influence people lately. This must make us the laughing stock of the planet. Anybody out there from foreign countries...how exactly is this being percieved by you guys?

Ooooh here's my idea. How about we take all the troops out of Iraq and plant them along the border? There's my offer for a solution, plus an exit strategy for Iraq. I can just picture Bush now "Listen fellas, I'm gonna need mah troops back now...ah've got some trouble bewin' back home...thanks..."
