Resort: All Star Movies. Our first stay and a good one. Nice room - very clean and comfortable beds. Enjoyed the Disney theme. The All Stars are perfect for the budget conscious or those who just need a clean room and a bed and prefer to spend their vacation dollars on other things. 
Parks: MGM, Epcot and Animal Kingdom were fairly uncrowded for a weekend. MK was fairly crowded today - some rides more than others. Overall, by using fastpasses, the parks were all very do-able. MGM, Epcot and MK all had their night parades this weekend. No change in Illuminations as of yet since the announcement that GE has ended their sponsorship.
Downtown Disney: Usual fun shopping. Ice cream at Ghiradelli's was yummy as always! Because we were at the All Stars this time, we road the bus to Pleasure Island and walked backward to the Marketplace. Therefore, we boarded a fairly empty bus and got seats since most everyone gets off at the Marketplace. By the time we left Pleasure Island, the bus was standing room only.
Weather: Friday was rainy and ugh. We went to Epcot to see the Tapestry of Dreams since it was in its last days, but it was cancelled due to the rain. Saturday and Sunday were mostly cloudy with some rain "spits" and some sun. However, these days were great for park touring since it wasn't hot! It was humid, but no hot sun.
Observations: A fun, fun weekend, as always. I did notice quite a few folks with less than happy thoughts. Lots of bumping and shoving as folks ran from one thing to another. We try really hard to relax and enjoy ourselves these days - makes for a really special time!
No "next" trip planned
. We'll have to figure out a long weekend some time this summer!
