Up Sunday by 7 (didn't sleep well, though) and off to Spoodles for breakfast, then did the MGM thing again. This time I was waiting for rope drop and did what I was supposed to do - got my FP for RNRC before I got into line. I was still in the first group through for the first ride of the day. Did TOT again, then it was exactly time for my FP - I was the first person back for FP - had to ask the CM's if they were taking FP yet. From there I took the bus to AK.

At AK I went straight to Tarzan Rocks!, since it was starting in 5 minutes. Easily found a seat way at the back, which I wanted since I was planning on leaving a bit early. I was mostly checking this out to see if DH and I would want to see it in Nov. Decided a definite YES (that was about the time Tarzan came out and my jaw just about hit the floor at those muscles - OH MY GOD), but also decided I would rather be down closer next time. Left a few minutes early and walked right into Dinosaur, which was much as I remembered - nothing great. Will not be doing that in Nov. (DH can't do rough rides and hates roller coasters, so that's why I was picking the things I was.) From there I went to Primeval Whirl (said 35 minute wait, it took 15). Didn't particularly care for that, either, because the twirling was threatening to make me sick, even with my Dramamine. Had I not been so worried about that, I would have really liked the times you whip out over like you're going off the track.

Next I went to see the Lion King, and decided DH and I will have to see that, too. Love those monkeys. Left AK under threatening skies and a sprinkle or two - saw Stitch on the way out and was very disappointed. He was looking far too smiley and not nearly enough mischevious. Skipped any picture opportunities.

Took the bus to Epcot (I was torn between going back to MGM and driving or going straight to Epcot - my worst fear was never finding that darn rental in the parking lot at MGM) and went through Ice Station Cool and did NOT MIND BEVERLY. Must be something wrong with me.

Went to Le Cellier and walked right in. From there I went to America and listened to the Voices of Liberty - they sounded just wonderful, but the songs bored me and I left after 3 songs. I wasn't going to do the show because that was definitely something DH and I would do in Nov. Wandered about in the hideous heat (we are having such a late summer at home, so I was not prepared for this at all) and finally got Rice Cream at Norway. It was OK, but I think I should have gotten the chocolate cake the lady in front of me had, instead... But now I could check off Cheese Soup, Pretzel Bread, and Rice Cream from my list of Things to Do That Would Make My Husband Roll His Eyes.

Back to Canada and sat in the broiling sun for about 10 minutes waiting on Off Kilter. I was torn between walking about to cool off and staying, but I knew deep down that once I started walking, I would NOT come back there and sit and broil again. So, I waited it out. I began sweating from places that I had not know had sweat glands. It was running down body parts that hate to sweat. It was ready to get in my eyes, which would have stunned DH because he knows I have this THING about sweating. FINALLY they came out and started their set, and once I got a feel for what it was like (halfway through the second song), I had to leave. It was that or I would be one of those people that explodes into flames right in front of everyone. (You know the ones - it happens all the time.) I drug myself into O Canada! since it was the nearest AC available, even thought I knew that DH and I would see it in Nov. I revived enough to sing along with the chorus.

Shopped at Mouse Gears on my way out, then bussed back to MGM. Found my car right away (amazing) and went back to the Hilton to shower and change. Had to put in an appearance over at the Marriott Convention Center and register for my conference which was starting Monday. UGH. Too many people over there, the place is too darn big (but I haven't been in AKL yet), and I wasn't in the mood to schmooze. I did, though, and found out one of my colleagues is also a DVC owner, so that made me feel better. (I talked Disney to everyone - who wants to talk software???)

Back to the hotel and saw Illuminations fireworks again.

My husband likes Beverly too. I prefer the too sweet Watermelon soda myself.

Thanks for sharing - wonderful reviews!!!!
