Short Stays ???

I'm wondering about the short stays through II. I'm interested in Maine or Massachusetts, and I have tried check in for every single day and there is no availability for anything??? What's up with this? Seems they are offering something that doesn't exist???

I agree and I have done the same for places in New Hampshire as well as the others you mentioned. It seems nothing is ever available at any time and this is basically a farce.

This is II's picked over and short notice inventory. There is no reason to expect anything available during peak times mostly ever other than just a few days before travel. The way it appears to be set up is the full week in question has to be completed prior to 30 days out to be available other than for some very low demand options.

I just wish they would show you a list of what IS available. If we wanted to go away for a few days, we would have to search at every possible location. It would be a lot easier to plug in your dates and then be able to narrow your search if necessary.

Agreed. The search engine for the short stays is far more cumbersome than the regular II search engine, which will at least give you regional info. One thing you can do is call DVC exchange desk and see what's available for full weeks then use that as a guide to what might be available for partial weeks.
