Spent 5 glorious days at DL and CA on solo trip.

Loved seeing all the Dapper costumes.

Weather was great.

Maxpass is the bomb. DW should use this. Between single rider and Maxpass, I hardly stood in any long lines and rode all major attractions multiple times. And you get all your ride photos and photopass photographer photos too. Well worth $10 a day.

Guardians of the Galaxy is awesome. It's a cross between Tower of Terror and RockNRoller Coaster!

The longest line ever was for the popcorn bucket!?!? What's the deal? o_O

Second longest line was for dole whip. :P

Stayed in hotel near Ball Road and DL drive. About a 15 - 20 minute walk so would not be good for small kids but very doable for healthy adults. Advantage is that security lines at ESPN in Downtown Disney are always short! Well worth the walk thru Downtown Disney.

That sounds amazing! I'm planning a solo trip for next year. Where did you stay? And did 5 days feel like a good amount of time? Too long? Just right?
I'm nosey.... I know. :)

I stayed at Super 8. Economy hotel but was clean and quiet. Only there to sleep and shower to no biggie. There are quite a few other hotels nearby. As I stated, about a 15 to 20 minute walk but always felt safe.

This was my second solo trip. First one was 4 days since the longest ticket was a four day. Now they offer five day tickets, and the longer the stay the cheaper the price per day. Three days would be sufficient, four days is nice and five days was lots of time to see and do it all. Make sure you are there at least one weekend day as Fantasmic was only during the weekend and you don't want to miss it.

I have been to Disneyworld too many times to count. But what I love about Disneyland is (1) weather! (2) that you only have to go thru security check once and you're done and (3) park hopping consists of walking back and forth between the parks (no waiting on buses).

And the best thing about a solo trip is that you can do what you want, when you want, where you want. Just do it! :-)
