Short car rental - Feb

I am attempting to book a car rental (from JAX actually, not MCO) for less than two days. I am having a hard time getting what I consider to be a good deal because my rental is so short and it does NOT include a Sat. night stay. My dates are 2/23-2/25. An economy would be fine, although I would get a larger car if the price difference was small.

Seems as if all the coupons/discounts I see are for weekends and must include a Sat. night stayover. About the best deal I can come up with is on Alamo...using the Alamo insiders rate and getting a free double upgrade, I can get a standard car for $109.51. My actual rental period is only one day and 15 hours. Any other suggestions?

are you returning the car to JAX also? Did you check Mousesavers.com for discount codes? Keep in mind that is President's week.

Yes, returning to JAX and yes, I've checked Mousesavers. Almost every code either doesn't go that far out yet (even though it is less than a month away), is for a weekly rental, or mandates a Saturday night stay. President's Day is 2/20 so the holiday weekend is the previous weekend....at least that is when the KY schools are out.

Yes but almost all states in the Northeast have that whole week off from school.

I just checked hotwire.com and they have rentals less than what you have found. Personally I would try Priceline. Usually you can even lower rates on Priceline over hotwire.
