Hi! I'd like to visit a shopping mall during my next visit. Disney merchandise is welcome, but the most important thing is clothes. And not too expensive ones. I like Gap a lot. Where should I go? I don't have a car, but I wouldn't mind taking Lynx bus. Thanks.

Beltz factory outlets definately have a Gap,it's quite big & they are at the top of I-Drive.Florida mall isn't too far away & there is a huge Wall mart on the way.Depending on where you are staying there's the Premium Outlets at Lake Beuna Vista which is also good.Hope this helps SD

Does anyone know if they have Gap Body at that Lake Buena Vista outlet? I searched on both their sites, but can't find it.

There certainly is a GAP store at LBV Outlet Mall, but it only sells old stock - last seasons stuff etc.

GAP BOdy - Don't think so.

I disagree on Florida Mall "not being too far away". It's further than I would want to go! If I recall correctly, it's about a 20-30 minute drive, depending on the traffic. And alot of it, is stop & go traffic, so it seems to take forever. I would second the Premium Outlets...

In the same line of thought,

Does anyone know the name of the new mall in Orlando that I saw on the way to our cruise last year? It wasn't open yet last August. I remember seeing it right off the highway.

It's name is something like 'Mall at Millenia' or 'Mall of Millenia'.
I believe it opened last October.

European - If you're looking for a Gap Body - ask any sales assoc. in any Gap store to look it up for you. There is a store listing book that has every store (Gap, Kids, Outlet and Body) in every state with the address. Just tell them Orlando, Fl and they can look it up in all of 3 minutes! Have fun!

We have two Teenage DDs who have to shop everytime we go. The new Millenium Mall is a very nice/expensive mall. Tiffany's, etc. We went to Tiffany's to buy dd her 21st Bday gift on our trip in august. There a huge new mall/outlet at the end of Idrive, right before you get to beltz on the right side, its got alot of stores, Ron Jons of orlando, many more. If you knew your way around the Orlando Mall is probably 10-14 miles. But alot of traffic, but worth the trip if you really want to shop.

Everybody's already pretty much named it for you. Unfortunately, Orlando isn't the best city in the world for mall shopping.

Festival Bay is the new one near Belz with the Ron Jon's. It's only about 20% full at the moment, but will eventually be a great mall. (No outlet stores.)

The Florida Mall is HUGE, but doesn't really have any excitingly different stores. If you're looking for regular mall stores, you'll find them all there, but be aware that some stores have jacked up the prices from their normal retail.

The Mall At Millenia has a great Macy's, but is fairly useless beyond that, unless you have a really really amazingly large shopping budget. All of the stores are high-end, and incredibly expensive. What I've been hearing lately is that it's not doing very well, and I'd believe it -- I don't know anybody local who shops there regularly.

The Premium Outlets on I-Drive next to the new Dixie Stampede are WONDERFUL. There's a good, diverse selection of stores, and you can usually find a few really great bargains. (Premium Outlets is actually a chain. If you've been to any others, you know pretty much what to expect.)

There is a Mills mall in Florida, but according to MapQuest it's about 3 hours away, darn it! If you're headed to Miami it would be worth routing your trip to pass it, but it's a heck of a schlep from here.

Man, I miss good malls, lol.
