anyone gone shopping in orlando?? what is the best mall and where is it??

That depends upon what you want to purchase and how much you want to spend.

If you want high end, go to Millenia Mall. Better prices, larger selection? The Florida Mall. There are outlets at Premium Outlet, Prime Outlet, Lake Buena Vista Outlet and dozens of other outlet style shops at the "far end" of I Drive.

You can google those places for locations and more in depth descriptions of what can be found there.

We like the outlets in Lake Buena Vista (especially the Disney one) and also like the new Outlets on I-Drive -- way out on I Drive. There is also a Ross there (one of my favorite stores!) and a few other non-outlet places, so this next time we'll go there. There is also a new Disney outlet there, and they had different stuff from the Lake Buena Vista one. The Florida Mall can be fun too, but is more of a "basic" mall to me.

Premium Outlets has a lot of nice shops, plus you cant beat the prices and its close to WDW...

The locations where my family and I like to shop is the Premium Outlet Mall and the Prime Outet Mall. We have also been to the Millenia Mall, however we only like to look around the various stores and one reason we even go there is to eat at the Cheese Cafe Factory restaurant that is located in the mall.

Winter Garden Village is brand new and about 2 miles from me. It has mid range shops for the most part, with a high end one or two and low end (Ross and Marshall's, Home Good) thrown in.

Several places (chain) to eat too. Not a bad place to visit if you want to take a little drive (about 20 minutes north of Disney on STATE road 535).

We really love the Orlando Premium Outlets.

The WDW outlet store, Disney's Character Premiere, is excellent and we've found so many great things at large discounts. This is usually our first stop for souvenirs and we usually stop again at least once before heading back home as the merchandise changes frequently.

I love the FLorida Mall...they have a hotel right in the mall and DH has business meetings in the area and I tag along...super nice mall and it has a California Pizza Kitchen!

If you are looking for a good deal on Nike product, you should try the Nike Clearance Store. It is not your typical outlet and it is not located in one of the big outlet malls. It is essentially an outlet store for the Nike Outlet division. There are some great deals you can find there. Typically nothing is priced over $49.99 and you can find some heavily discounted items there.

If you're going to the outlets, plan to go early to get a good parking spot. DD and I drove around for ages at about 2 in the afternoon before we gave up. I personally love the Millenia Mall because of the designers, but DD isn't into that yet (thankfully) and adores the outlets and the Florida Mall. They're all super easy to find.
