Shopping in Buffalo at Wegmans - advice? tips?

I've posted something similar in the Community board, but would love any advice that I can get:

We're going to be in Buffalo in early August for a bit of shopping. And I plan to stop at Wegmans to pick up those "only in the US" items....

Other than getting a Wegmans card, I'd also like to try couponing. Have any other Canadians done this? And do you have any advice? I'm not sure where to start. Where can I get US coupons or are they the same as Canadian ones?

I would look online. There are tonnes of sites for US coupons. I just print them off and use them there. As for the Wegman's card, I didn't have one but the cashier asked a customer in line for theirs and used it for my purchase. I had no idea what the card was! But it was very nice of them to offer me the deals too. It is a good idea to get your own card. I don't shop there much usually just get everything from Target.

We are also headed over, but on July 11, I would love coupons because they double them sometimes. But I would just hit a Super Walmart or Super Target for all those American items.

We go to Buffalo but prefer PA. We go to Grove City and Cranberry to shop at least 4 times a year. No sales tax on clothes!!

There are two outlets within an hour of Cranberry...Tanger Outlets in Washington, PA and Prime Outlets in Grove City, PA.

Cranberry has just about everything you need...Walmart, Target, Costco, Best Buy, Toys R US etc.

This is also the route we drive to Florida. Cranberry is 5 hours from Toronto and Grove City about 4.5 hours. Take QEW to Fort Erie and then I-90 to Erie then I-79 (Pittsburgh)

I love to gas up at Costco because the gas is always the best price around and the Costco Pharmacy section has generics that you just can't get in Canada.
