Shopaholic Goes Disney.... A Pre-Trip Report (Updated 12/26)

Anyway, love the update! lol...glad I could be an inspiration . I love how you've inspired everybody with uggs and vera! I love all the jewelry...the tink on the flower ring is soooo pretty and dainty!

Yay! I have that Mickey Disney Couture top! I bought it from ebay for about $10! I don't know if I love it as much once I got it, but it's still kinda cute...

DD wants a pair for christmas. I want to journeys at our mall today and they only sell EU I think that is what they said. Though DD told me journeys sells them.

I'm still at the very beginning of your report, but I have to comment!

First, I'm sooooooo sorry to hear about your dancing career cut short! I cannot imagine how painful and frustrating that would be.

Your wedding/honeymoon/baby sounds MUCH like mine! We got married in Oct. 2006, honeymooned at Disney (both our first trips-LOVED every second) and found out we were pregnant 3 months later. Henry was born in September 2007. So, I understand the whirlwind of wedding/baby. Changes things a teensy bit, eh?

I'm sorry to hear about your wedding night too - reminds me of this past trip for us with Henry! Thankfully, ours wasn't food posioning though. It certainly does build fond memories, and a very unique time!

Your DD is crazy adorable. Stinkin', stinkin' cute!

And your wedding pictures are STUNNING! You are beautifulllllllll!

Okay, hoping to squeeze in a couple more installments before Mr. Henry is wide awake and ready to get up.

I would suggest checking the internet. You can find some really good deals that way. They might be last year's boots that didn't sell, but no one would ever know the difference.

Wow! We have alot in common! We were suprised when we found out we were pregnant, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Thanks for the compliments on Belle and my wedding. We had an amazing photographer and she can make anyone look beautiful. Thanks again!

Hey Soleil!

I finally am all caught up on your PTR! It took me about 5 days to get through all that i have missed! I am caught up now and do not plan on getting behind again!

I saw a couple of references to Lisa Welchel while reading through .....

Mine was taller and her hair was wider.

I haven't, I should, though. I think she lives in Texas somewhere. I would love to hear her speak one day.

Ha!!! Well, unless she moved, she's in California. Her husband is a pastor out there---maybe since I read her book they moved back!! I think her family is still here-wasn't she raised up around Dallas?

I have had the AMAZING priviledge of actually meeting her! She is so sweet and funny! She spoke at a MOPS covention that I went to in Texas about 3.5 yrs ago! I had the extreme priviledge of WORSHIPPING with her and her entire family! Her husband and 3 kids all play instruments and she still sings! It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life! I have pictures of my meet with her! I will post them if you want to see!

Anyway! Hope you are well! I'll bet you are getting so excited for your trip! Oh! Something else...are you going to change "G"s age on your signature or is he going to be 39 forever? You are a fashion inspiration! I love reading all about your adventures! Thanks for Sharing!

We went out last night for a few hours. I had to get a crinoline for my dress, and the David's Bridal is right near the mall. We weren't going to head to the mall, but my baby sister actually wanted to go shopping!
She is NOT a shopper! I've been fighting with her for at least the past 2 years to no avail. She groaned at the mention of shopping more than my brothers, but last night she wanted to go find shoes for her bridesmaid dress! We found some - they're boots, not exactly formal, but neither are mine!
It was soo much fun to see her getting excited about trying on shoes. She even continued after she found her boots to look at other shoes!

Then, today I had to take back a pair of shoes I got. I tried them on in the store, but when we got to the register the box had one 9 and one 8 1/2 in it, so they switched the boxes. When I got home and put them on I found that they were defective. We took them back today, and my baby sister not only wanted to come with us, but she wore jeans! I was thrilled, she never wears jeans. My Mom commented on them being too big, but I'm satisfied with baby steps. I'll make her fashionably conscious yet!
