I just booked a 9:25am CP breakfast, 2:20pm Plaza lunch, and 8:30pm Boma dinner. Is that too much food for one day?

I can see it now...my health freak friend just sitting there while I'm the one stuffing my face with the delicious Disney food :sad2:

***Edited to say that I canceled my Boma dinner and switched dinner to Plaza. I loooove Plaza and we are only doing 1 day in MK so I figured I could just move Boma to another day, which I did. Thanks for all of the advice!!

For my family, yes it would be.

We like to have only 1 sit down meal a day, sometimes we don't even do that, we'll just wing it.:)

I love the idea of the deluxe DDP but I know it would be far too much for us.

Hmmm. I'm a marathon eater, especially at Disney, and even I think that would be too much food. I'm not talking about from a health standpoint, but a "how much can I eat without a stomache" standpoint. Where CP and Boma are both buffets, you can, of course, just hold back and not eat too much, but then you're paying the price for buffets and not getting any value. You could probably do a breakfast and dinner buffet if you cut out the Plaza lunch and had just a snack instead. Sounds like a tasty day, though.

One more in the camp of yes, it would be too much food, personally...
Also, spending a lot of time in restaurants!

Have fun!

I'm not sure it's too much food, but it's definitely too much time. TS tends to take longer than CS, right? I couldn't see myself sitting down to three TS meals in a day when there's so much other stuff to do, especially in the MK. I would do CS for lunch.

So true.

True...I just LOVE,LOVE,LOVE the Plaza. Boma was alright but I really wanted to try CP for breakfast.

It would be for us. One day we have breakfast at the castle at 8:20am and dinner at Ohana at 6:35pm and I'm worried about being too full at dinner. What I think will happen is everyone will start to get hungry around 2pm, and we'll want to eat, but then not be hungry enough at dinner. Oh well, I'm going with it since it's just one day. Do you plan to eat big meals like that every day of your trip or just the one? Part of the fun in our trip is the dining "experience", for me anyway. ;)

I TOTALLY AGREE! That happened to me last trip which is why as soon as I booked this I looked at it and thought to myself, "Oh crap!" :scared1:

Usually we only have one TS meal a day so it was really the only day I was booked with three. However it is our only day in MK so I decided to move the Plaza to dinner and move Boma to the next day.

Thanks for all of your help! But, FWIW, I'm a really good eater and could probably have done it

The late dinner at Boma is a good Idea but I think breakfast and lunch are too close. If you don't eat heavy at CP and eat light at the Plaza it could work. But if it were me I would take Plaza off and do snacks along the way in the park at the Counter services.

You have them spaced pretty far apart...but I am one to talk, I have 2 days this week with 3 TS places ... but no buffets, I may burst!

Oh, yea :)

I'v done the same thing on one of our days, 8am PF breakfast with a HUGE Birthday cake, 1.25pm lunch at 50's prime time, then a 7.30pm ressie at Cali grill  I know we are all going to be totally stuffed, but its my DD 13th Birhtday and I just wanted her to have a really fun, full on Disney experience day, so a character brekkie was a must, with ''face'' characters so they can actually speak and wish her happy BDay, then I wanted a fun lunch so am hoping that she will be humiliated at 50's prime time ;) and then Cali grill so we can watch Wishes :goodvibes

We start every Disney vacation with breakfast at the Cystal Palace. My favorite restaurant at WDW. It is enough food from that yummy buffet to last us until an early dinner. You'd be stuffed and might not be able to enjoy the rest of your day. I bet 2 sit-downs would be enough. Either way, you're on vacation... so enjoy yourself!:thumbsup2

After a CP breakfast at 9:25, I can not imagine you'd be hungry enough to eat lunch. I'd cancel lunch and just have a snack. You don't want to be full getting to Boma!!!

Nope, I think it's spaced out well, just don't fill up til ya get to BOMA. ;)

I think that's too much food. You would be amazed at how long you stay full, especially with all of the great distractions in the Magic Kingdom.

I'll go out on a limb here and say that, while for me and DH it would be too much food and time, if you are willing to spend 5-6 hours of your day sitting down to eat---go for it!

I think eating three non-buffet TS meals would be harder than 1 non-buffet and 2 buffets.

While most people would think buffets are all about stuffing yourself as full as possible, I look at buffets as an opportunity to sample a bunch of different foods in smaller amounts since there may be many things on the menu that look appealing.

For CP---eat whatever you would for a normal breakfast. A pancake/waffle or two, some bacon and eggs and fruit and don't eat until lunch. At lunch, eat whatever you get with the DDP if you are on it and if not, again...go a little on the lighter side. For dinner, you have a 6 hour gap between eating at MK and Boma so you should be fine since it's another buffet. If you are really hungry eat all you want and if not, go light and just sample a bunch of different things until you are full.

Have a great time!

I think it's not too much, if you really want it, why not. :lmao:

Have a great time and safe trip coming. :)

I am planning on a early breakfast at CP. Hopefully at 8:05, then dinner at Ohanna's at around 6. I think that should work. We plan on doing everything we can in the morning then head back to the hotel in the afternoon, and return after supper. If the hours stay the same as last year, MK should be open until 11 with the EMH
