We're taking a trip in October and staying on pointed we rented from a DVC member. Because DVC members have to pay for the dining plan at the time it's added to the reservation, we arranged with the member we're renting from to add the dining plan a few weeks before our trip starts.

I made our ADRs when our 180 day reservation opened in April. If I recall correctly, both CRT and Hoop De Doo had to be paid for up front, which I did gladly, using my credit card, because I'd read on here that we can apply our DDP credits to our meals and then have our credit card refunded when we actually go for the meal. Easy, peasy.

Well, last week our bank called to say that our credit card number had been stolen, so they had to close our account and sent us new cards with new account numbers. So now I no longer have the card that I paid for CRT and Hoop De Doo with. Will Disney refund the money to my new card, or is this going to be a big hassle? Has anyone been through something like this before?

You can explain to them what happened and see where they can apply the credit. They may be able to do it to a gift card or something.

We just had a similar situation happen. Another vendor (not Disney) submitted a refund to the old card number and it was applied to our account correctly. I don't think you have anything to worry about.
