Shoes

yes good point but I wouldn't it have been fun to go buy Mickey flip flops to replace them. Next time I am there I might "lose" mine just so I can convince dh I NEEDED the new mickey shoes!!!:rotfl:
They make Mini flip flops??? Oh man, I am in BIG trouble. My twelve year old daughter has inherited my obsession for wearing the flip flops!!!

I wear my flip flops all the time when I go! I have never had a problem. I guess you could possibly lose them getting in and out of the rides but I haven't done it yet!

Crocs are my lifesaver! For years and years, every time I would go to Disneyland I would get horrible blisters and have aching feet and legs every night. Last year someone recommended Crocs to me and I bought a pair of the Beach style. I wore them to Disneyland for 4 days in April and did not have one single blister, nor any leg or foot pain!

Then they came out with the Athens Flip Flops and I jumped all over those for my June trip. Again I wore the flips for 4 days in June and not one blister or any leg pain.

These shoes are like magic! I am headed to DL next weekend and I'm taking both flips and Beach!!!

I did the sizing chart on the Crocs website. Did you find that you wore a size larger than normal?

Yes, they are supposed to be loose on your feet. I normally wear and 8 and my beaches are a large and my Athens are a 9.

do Jibbitz fit in the disney crocs??? Online they said Disney croc holes don't really fit jibbitz... :confused3

OK, so I caved and just orderd a pair of white/pink Disney crocs. I have a question though, if you are wearing them with the bar behind you heal does the bar stay still or are they likely to fall off? I am thinking about when I am in other parks and go on suspended rollercoasters where your feet dangle. If the crocs are as comfy as people say I will be wanting to wear them all the time, but maybe when I go on these rides lace up sneakers would be better (although my feet would be way hotter!!)

the bar stays put...it doesnt move at all...soo when u go on the roller coaster where your feet dangle, put the strap up..and if u dont like it up all the time take it down when ur not on the roller coasters...thats what i do

Cheers for the info, I just didn't want to risk them flying off and loosing them mid ride!

Danauk, where did you find the pink Disney Crocs in stock? I was looking the other day and couldn't find any!

I found them in a store using ebay. They seem good as I only ordered them this morning and I got an email this afternoon with a tracking number as they have posted them global priority mail already. I used the UK ebay site but the store was American. I checked the stores reviews before I ordered to check that they were official ones and the reviews say they are.

Thanks, I'll have to check on eBay. I just found them in stock at Nordstrom, but of course they're more expensive there.

A little off topic here but...
Speaking of shoes. It just kills me to see women wearing heals at DL. I'm talking serous heals or healed boots. I just don't get it. Their poor feet, why do women do that to themselves.

I know and some are dressed in nice dresses too and I know they aren't CM's. Why do they do this???? I've always stared at their feet in wonder.

I confess that I have worn nice dresses and heels to Disneyland. Each time it was because DH and I had dinner reservations at Club 33. Having dinner there is one possible reason why you'll see some people wearing nicer clothes and shoes to the park.

We'd usually have our casual clothes and comfy shoes in a tote bag and change into them after dinner. Can't really see myself riding Splash Mountain all dolled up, LOL!
