shoes ( inspired by the how much do you pay for shoes thread)

Ill probably get my womanhood membership card revoked for this but I have to say I dont care about shoes! I dont like shoes. I would rather be barefoot. ( Whew it feels so good to admit that! )

Here are my requirements for shoes....

1) must be comfortable
2) must reasonably match outfit
3) ok if it doesnt match it must not clash
4) ok clashing is allright depending on where Im going
5) must be comfortable
6) must be less than $25 with tax
7) must be comfortable
8) must not make me look like Nurse Hatchett
9) must not have a thingie between the toes ewwww
10) must be comfortable

This is all I want from my shoes.

The rest is gravy!

Can I be a member of the no shoes club too? I hate, hate shoes and wish I could be barefoot all the time.

I remember when I was younger, being able to go into some mom and pop stores barefoot because we knew the owners real well and they never minded.

I hate shoes! I will join the club, binny. I have always had a hard time finding shoes that fit without killing my feet. I can't stand anything between my toes either. I have tried all different kinds of sandals like that. I have the same pair of shoes in three different colors.

DD4 is another story. She is a shoe freak! She loves flip flops and has a collection that any teenage girl would envy. I can't get her to put on a pair of socks anymore. I don't know what I am going to do with her this winter.

Land's End overstock catalog just ordered 4 pairs for $90. That will do me until next school year. I ordered all those slip ons in different colors. Last year the students told me I had "Amish" shoes. Don't care -- it's all about the comfort. Plus my classroom is 4 flights up. I can't believe the teachers that wear stilettos and stand in front of the class all day.

I hate wearing shoes...I wear sandals as much as humanly possible.

My feet are weird, so finding shoes I like is hard to do...my left foot is slightly bigger than my right foot, so I either end up with my left foot being to cramped, or my right shoe to big....ahh, the pleasures of being me.

I love shoes runners are my favourite but I also like nice casual shoes like Clarks and Timberlands etc. Does this sound strange coming from a guy ah who cares I still love shoes.

I'm not much for shoes either, but I do LOVE flip flops!!

In the summer I love cute flip flops. DH does not understand this at all so I compared it to him and his obsession with hats.

In the winter I love boots. Not snow boots, but the dressier kind. I love wearing them with jeans. I don't feel like such a "Mom" that way. Just my own little thing Lol!

Don't get me wrong I have to have a couple good pairs of tennis shoes. Some days it's all I feel like wearing.

I am not a shoe person either. When I teach I wear "teaching" type shoes!!


But the ONLY shoe I really like and buy the same kind year after year is Reebok's classic walking shoe. Love 'em!!

LOL I also am not into shoes... I find one pair at the beginning of the season that is comfortable, and I wear that same pair all the time. This summer it's a pair of Polo slides I got at a shoe outlet store for $18. They are very comfy, easy to get on and off and not expensive-those are my requirements for shoes!!

I am a shoe freak! I have many, many pairs and all my favorites are very expensive! Can anyone say "Nordstroms"? I cannot get out of that store without buying a pair of shoes that I ususally cannot afford But somehow, wearing a pair of good quality, nice and stylish shoes puts a little bounce in my step and gives me a boost of confidence.

Now while visiting WDW, I only wear comfy flip flops, tennis shoes or lightweight walking shoes. I do after all have some common sense
