Shoes for 13 yr old boy..

I need to know what 12-13 yr old boys wear for shoes or sandals at WDW. I'm looking for my son. And I need to make fore sure they will not blister or rub on his feet. TIA

All he ever wears is sneakers so he's not "used" to wearing anything else. I just want him to be comfortable. And we are going when it will be HOT!!

Tennis shoes seem to always work for me. I tend to not wear sandles because of all the walking.

Whatever they are, though, make sure they have plenty of arch-support. I didn't last trip... Possibly one of the most painful experiences of my life.

Make sure they have a good sole. I'd go with tennis shoes.

Just take him shopping, let him try on shoes, pick the ones that feel most comfortable to him.

My suggestion is that he wear his most comfortable, already broken-in sneakers. If you want to take a new pair that looks better, at least throw the old ones in his bag as well. You might want to invest in some new, heavy duty ankle socks, if he'll wear those.

hes actually a shoe fanatic (has more than me!!) and the air forces r his favorite 4 walking around the park a lot

If he likes shoes, he should where those in the parks. You end up walking a lot more than you would at home when you're in Disney.
Buy him some sort of sandals to wear at the hotel or something, nothing feels better than releasing your feet from their prison after walking for six hours.

I wore vans when I was their and they were too small but they still were not bad. If my mom would let me buy a pair for walking I would buy the Niike Free(any type of those). They are so light weight and comfortable.

No, I was speaking of running type shoes. Nike, Puma, New Balance..etc.
