Shirt Making Assistance Please

I am hoping to make a shirt for my girls to wear during the upcoming Walt Disney World Marathon while they are acting as my scream team. I know what I want for the design, but I need some help as to actually accomplish getting the design on the shirt. I am assuming it requires software, a color printer, transfer paper appropriate for the shirt & design and some skill.
Any quick, step-by-step directions would be most appreciated.

This is the Tinkerbell design I was looking at and I want the saying "Faith, Trust, Pixie Dust, 26.2 or Bust" underneath the design.

I am hoping I can pull this off, as it is always emotional to have my girls share this experience with me, so I want to do something really special for them.

Any and all help, suggestions and encouragement is greatly appreciated.

First, You need to buy the shirts and Transfer paper.

The Shirts you can get anywhere you like, and the Transfer paper you can get at Wal-Mart or alot of other places.

I suggest Dark Transfer paper.

Then pre-wash your shirts and do NOT use any fabric softner or dryer sheets

Then i am sure someone can help you with this Picture, i will later after i get home if nobody has by then.
This pic would be great cropped and with a border around it...and of course with your words added.

Then you can open the pic in "Paint" and print it out on the transfer paper in your printer. then its a simple follow the directions to iron it on.

Thank you so much!! I did manage to find the FAQ thread, so I will refer to that once I get into the thick of it. My girls are 5 and 9, so if the design has to be cropped any, that is fine. I am probably going to put it on a lime green shirt, as I run with the DIS Boards W.I.S.H. team and that's our color. Yeah!!

If Shriva doesn't get a chance to do it, I'll try look at it tomorrow afternoon. If I don't get to it then, I won't be able to get to it until early next week. I will watch, though, and make sure that I do it if no one else does.
