Shipping to resorts

Has anyone shipped any boxes to their resorts? If so how far in advance did you send them? Also how did you go about sending them back? Where you able to do it right at the resort or did you have to leave property to do it? Thanks in advance for the help.

Also if you are sending something right to the ship (I forget if you are a cruise bride or not!) then you contact Shanda and she sends labels...

We've shipped boxes to POR in the past and will be doing so again for our wedding in 2 weeks yay. It's best to use UPS or FedEx because the postal service only delivers to a central place, and then it has to be routed to your resort, which takes a bit longer. FedEx and UPS can ship directly to the resort. We arrive on Saturday and are shipping the boxes out tomorrow. You can send it earlier, but I think it just can't arrive any more than 10 days before you do. On the Resorts forum there's a sticky with all of the resorts' addresses and some various questions/answers.

I'm not sure about sending stuff back though... On the sticky I mentioned, some people suggest prepaying for return postage when you initially ship it, then I think your resort can have it picked up? But I'm really not sure about that. I'm going with the assumption that we can ship stuff from the convention resorts (we'll be at BWI)...so let's hope that works...
